The training will be led by Jean Paul Nuuk, a chartered certified accountant, RIMS-certified risk management professional with over 25 years of international leadership experience in strategic financial management, enterprise risk management, and board governance across Africa, Europe, and Canada. Former Financial Controller at Diageo plc (London HQ) and Finance Director & Board Member of a Diageo plc subsidiary. He currently serves as Managing Director for Avanguard and on the boards of Conservation Council NB Inc. and Just Us Inc. Jean Paul is fluent in English and French.
The workshop will be co-facilitated by Robert Sancton, a former United Nations professional with extensive international experience in peacebuilding, organizational development, and programme management. Rob is well known and highly regarded within New Brunswick’s nonprofit sector, having led newcomer integration programmes at PRUDE Inc. in Saint John. The program will also feature two senior guest speakers from the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) Maritime Chapter, who will share practical insights and real-world experience in enterprise risk management.
